Layerbet supports two ways to sign-up and log in to your existing account:
  1. Non-custodial, Wallet-Based Login (Recommended)
  2. Privy Account Abstraction (Email/Social Login)
We strongly recommend connecting your own self-custodial wallet (such as MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect, or Coinbase Wallet) for maximum security and control. With this method:
  • You control your private keys and funds at all times.
  • No personal information, email, or password is required.
  • Your wallet address is your unique account identifier.
  • All transactions are signed and authorized directly from your wallet.
How to log in:
  • Click “Connect Wallet” in the top right.
  • Select your preferred wallet provider.
  • Approve the connection in your wallet extension or app.
  • Switch networks as needed (Polygon, Base, Gnosis).
For users that log in mobile, we recommend using the Browser in the Metamask app for a smooth betting experience.
Note: you might be prompted to sign a message in order to log-in. You do not pay gas when signing this message.

2. Privy Account Abstraction (Email/Social Login)

For users new to crypto or without a wallet, Layerbet offers login via Privy account abstraction:
  • Log in with email or social accounts (Google, X, Discord etc.).
  • Privy creates a secure, smart contract wallet for you. No seed phrase or extension required.
  • Privy manages key material using secure device-based methods.
  • You can link additional login methods or connect an external wallet later.
Important:While Privy is secure and user-friendly, we recommend using your own wallet for full self-custody and maximum control over your assets. How Privy Login Works:
  • Click “Connect Wallet” in the top right and choose email/social login.
  • Privy creates a smart contract wallet for you.
  • Authenticate via your chosen method.
  • Your account is now a smart contract wallet, and you can interact with Layerbet as usual.

What You Can See in Your Account

You can access your account by navigating to “My Bets” under the profile button. Regardless of login method, in your account dashboard you can view:
  • Bet History & Active Bets: view all your bets, including unredeemed, accepted, cashed-Out, and settled bets.
  • Redeem Won Bets: if you have won a bet, you can claim your winnings.
  • Free Bets & Promotions: find any special offers here, such as free bets.
If you can’t see your bets, make sure that you’re logged in with the right wallet. Also make sure you’re connected to the right network (Polygon, Base, Gnosis).
